My Pre-School, Kindergarten, and First-Grade students need their own cozy and cheerful area in the Media Center for learning and playing. I have everything I need to create this area except the right size tables and chairs! A considerable body of research about environmental design shows the positive effect comfort can have on learning and creativity. The Media Center is no exception. Smaller students in the lower grades can sit more comfortably in chairs and reach everything on tables that are made to fit their little bodies. Having the right size tables and chairs will make work and play far more engaging for these students.
