Your support has made such a meaningful difference for my students and me.\r\n\r\nWe've been putting the new resources to great use every day! My students are using them during our morning time, and it has completely transformed the way we learn. One of my favorite moments was when we used our cushion seats to complete different activities around the room. The room was full of excitement as students worked together, asked questions, and proudly shared their discoveries.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. They couldn't wait to start exploring and learning. Many of them commented that it felt like \"Christmas morning\" in our classroom!\r\n\r\nYour support has inspired my students to think creatively, collaborate, and believe in themselves. Thank you again for helping make our classroom a more engaging and joyful place to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1753920723729,"projectUrl":"project/get-comfy-and-creative-in-the-morning/9385129/","projectTitle":"Get Comfy and Creative in the Morning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Overby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10045988"},{"teacherId":3702517,"projectId":9446976,"letterContent":"This morning before the students came in to the classroom, I unrolled our new rug. As they came in they immediately noticed and many said, \"I love our new rug!\" As we gathered on the rug this morning to begin our whole group reading lesson, we took a moment to just rub the comfy space. My students were so excited they no longer were sitting on the cold, hard floor.\r\nTeachers spend so much of our own money getting the classroom ready for students. Purchasing a rug was a huge expense that I was going to have to come up with. I knew that this was going to take time as I had not received a paycheck over the summer. I took a chance and created the Donor's Choose to see if I could get help covering this rug that I felt was important to my students and classroom. I truly appreciate communities and businesses coming together to support classrooms, teachers and students.","fullyFundedDate":1755521919449,"projectUrl":"project/a-cozy-space-for-learning/9446976/","projectTitle":"A Cozy Space for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3702517_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753379092180","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrskmartin336"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_1513","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":405,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":23,"percentWhite":55,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.9,"schoolId":1513,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Old Richmond Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Old Richmond Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/winston-salem-forsyth-county-schools/old-richmond-elementary-school/1513"}
