My students were genuinely excited when they saw the beautiful watercolor supplies you provided. They immediately wanted to explore the colors, experiment with the materials, and begin creating.\r\n\r\nThese supplies are already making a difference in our classroom. My advanced students are learning that creating meaningful artwork involves much more than producing a finished painting. They are experimenting with watercolor techniques, studying color and value, developing compositions, and learning how layering and transparency can create atmosphere, depth, and emotion. They are documenting their ideas in their sketchbooks, revising their work, participating in critiques, and becoming more confident in making their own artistic decisions. One of the most rewarding things for me as their teacher is watching a student experiment with a new technique and suddenly say, \"I didn't know I could do that!\"\r\n\r\nOur next step is to take these experiments and turn them into more developed, personal works of art. Students will continue exploring their own ideas and interests while learning to communicate meaning through watercolor. They will refine their paintings, reflect on their artistic choices, share their work through critiques and exhibitions, and develop pieces that can become part of their advanced art portfolios.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students have the opportunity to work with quality materials that encourage them to take creative risks and grow as artists. The playdough was used while learning about the brain. Students made a 2D brain model using the playdough. They had to use a different color of playdough for each part of the brain. This helped the students learn each part and its function. Using the playdough as part of an assignment allowed the students to be creative. \r\n\r\nIn addition to using the playdough, the students will be able to bring their brain model to life. We will use Makey Makes to record and describe each part of the brain. Students have better nutrition and stable energy levels that support concentration, memory, and overall cognitive function. \r\n\r\nThe students were super excited when they saw the snacks and amount. Next step is to continue to fuel the students brain with more snacks.
