The students love to feel the brontosaurus' long neck, which signals the brontosaurus to roar, or sliding their fingers across the corked wing of the pterodactyl and hearing its shriek. This interaction with the book allows for rich speech-language usage. All of my students have speech, language, and communication delays. The lessons with the interactive books helps improve those very important skills. \r\n\r\nOne of the books added to the classroom library through the project had a Halloween theme.
