The materials being requested will help by giving my students hands on, fun practice in learning to identify continents, oceans, and countries at school. The world map coloring poster will go on a wall in our room. Students will be allowed to color it during free time or as a reward when they need a break. The puzzles and games will be used as collaborative projects during social studies learning time and as educational toys for indoor recess. I chose these specific puzzles and toys because they helped my own two children learn the names and locations of countries around the world by the age of 6 or 7.
