They couldn't believe people who didn't even know them were willing to donate so they could have all of these wonderful supplies. I opened all of the supplies in front of them so they would understand how lucky they are to receive these supplies.\r\n\r\nThey have enjoyed using the whisper phones. So many students don't enjoy reading and making reading fun is essential to get them to enjoy reading. The rolling white board is helping so much when we create anchor charts. We also used it in small groups. \r\n\r\nWe started Johnny Appleseed week. They loved using the new paint brushes to paint apple trees today. They love painting and making crafts. We will also make applesauce.\r\n\r\nThe white boards are helping them practice writing sentences and also conserving paper. Students love using whiteboards and expo markers. It makes them feel like the teacher. We use them in small groups daily.
