Your donations have provided resources that our students are able to use every day. The snacks are especially helpful when a student comes to the nurse's office feeling hungry or needs a little something to help them feel better before returning to class. The ice packs, gauze, and other first-aid supplies allow me to care for students when they have minor injuries or need a little extra comfort. You also provided lamps that have been a wonderful addition to the nurse's office. When a student has a headache and needs a quiet, calm environment, I can turn off the bright overhead lights and use the softer lamps instead. It is such a simple change, but it can make a student feel much more comfortable while they rest and recover.\r\n\r\nThe Ear Ease tool has also given me another resource to help students who visit the nurse's office with an earache or ear discomfort. It is so rewarding to see students come into the office not feeling their best and be able to provide them with comfort and reassurance. Your donations have helped make the nurse's office feel more welcoming and equipped to meet the different needs of our students. I want you to know that these are not simply supplies sitting on a shelf, they are resources that are being used to care for real students throughout our school day.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, I will continue using these resources to provide comfort, care, and support to our students while also encouraging them to learn how to take care of their own health. Every visit to the nurse's office is an opportunity to help a child feel safe, heard, and cared for. Thank you for helping make that possible.
