The kids absolutely love these cardboard cutters. Students of all ages have been able to create anything they can imagine. When the students came to class and saw the saws they were so excited. Class after class for over a week came into the room and saw the Beaverbot Saws. We got to talk all about how to use tools correctly and how to create things with the tools we have. \r\nIn the last few weeks my fifth grade students have used the saws to create their own model of a dream tree house. The models they created were amazing. It was so easy to cut up cardboard with the saws, compared to using scissors! I was so impressed with their plans and then to see them build the models - my STEM teacher's heart was full. \r\nThank you so much for donating to our project. Without donations we would have tools like the ones provided by this project. This will impact students for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1757524601291,"projectUrl":"project/a-safe-way-to-create/9656352/","projectTitle":"A Safe Way To Create","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Newkirk","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6281226_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y256&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1623886032015","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6281226"},{"teacherId":3498737,"projectId":9151799,"letterContent":"On behalf of our kindergarten class, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donation of iPads. Your support has truly transformed the way our little learners explore and interact with the world around them.\r\n\r\nThe children are absolutely loving the iPads! They are excited to use them every day, and it's wonderful to see how engaged they become as they explore educational games, storytelling apps, and interactive activities. The iPads have opened up new ways for students to develop important skills, such as letter recognition, reading aloud, counting, and creativity—all while having fun.\r\n\r\nWhat's especially amazing is how the iPads encourage collaboration and sharing. The children love working together on activities, helping one another, and celebrating each other's successes. My kindergarten to fifth grade students are all so excited when we get new materials for our STEM classroom. This project helped us get a camera to observe wildlife in our schoolyard. While we are saving the UV beads for warmer weather so we can experiment with them outside the camera is working for us every day. \r\nWhen the students first came into the classroom and saw the new camera they were full of excitement and wonder.
