I have a passion for teaching! This year I have a classroom of 19 students which I look forward to meeting in a few weeks. First Graders learn so much during the school year and it is exciting to see the growth they make from the beginning of the school year to the end. As a teacher I wear many hats and it is important that my students know that I am here to support and encourage them. What I love the most about teaching is watching the excitement in their face when they have learned how to read a word or work a math problem on their own. I try to plan lessons that are engaging and fun for the students. Instruction is taught in whole group and small group settings.
