The stools are getting a lot of use daily. Students are now able to sit during carpool, snack or lunch as they work on a puzzle. When we work on learning extensions that require a group effort, I will often have a student as if they can move a stool to their desk to make a group of three or four students. The other day I found a student sitting on the floor. I asked why he wanted to sit on the floor. He had forgotten about the new stools and excitedly went over to pick out his favor color. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity! The environment is more engaging and welcoming to students. It was fun to see the looks on their faces each day as a new item would arrive for the classroom. They were shocked that people around the country supported them without even knowing who they were. \r\n The students were especially excited to have new puzzles. They have the opportunity to work on puzzles during carpool, snack and lunch. I was shocked when they were able to complete the 500 piece gemstone puzzle in just three days! \r\n The LCD tablets have been a fun extension for students after they finish their math independent work. Most recently they have been creating problems for a partner to answer. Then checking the answers with a calculator. They loved this option instead of using a dry erase marker.
