Another said, \"I didn't know math could be this cool!\" The laughter, teamwork, and sense of discovery were electric. Even our most hesitant learners dove in with enthusiasm.\r\n \r\nBuilding on the carnival's momentum, students are now designing their own math games to teach younger grades. They're applying concepts like probability, measurement, and algebra to create engaging activities. \r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide supplies, it sparked joy, confidence, and a deeper love for learning. They couldn't wait to explore and start using everything. We immediately put the materials to work during small-group reading and hands-on literacy centers. The new resources have made our lessons more engaging and interactive students are now able to practice sight words, phonics, and comprehension skills in ways that feel more like fun challenges than work. One memorable moment was seeing a student who usually hesitates to participate light up with confidence while receiving our incentives.\r\n\r\nSince introducing these resources, I've noticed a boost in both focus and enthusiasm. The students are taking more ownership of their learning, often asking to use specific materials during independent work time. Our next step is to build on this excitement by incorporating the materials into collaborative reading projects, where students will work in pairs to create their own mini storybooks. Thanks to your generosity, learning feels more alive in our classroom, and my students are developing skills that will carry them far beyond this year.","fullyFundedDate":1740148131556,"projectUrl":"project/snacks-and-treats-for-my-little-peeps/8912727/","projectTitle":"Snacks and Treats for My Little Peeps","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morrow","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9005328"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_108159","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":418,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":74,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"17.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":41.9,"schoolId":108159,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Ace Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Ace Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/north-carolina-department-of-education/ace-academy/108159"}
