Questions are asked to see what they have retained from what was read. Students are also given a chance to ask their own questions. There have been times where we had to do more research because it went beyond information given. There is also an activity to complete after the reading.\r\n\r\nThey love the magazines and after we are done with them in class they take them home to share. They are even excited to know they have their own little magazine. They went out the class excited to tell others their explorations and experiences. I was even able to give some away as a gifts! This project opened students up to scientific process for projects that were full of fun and learning for all even with intellectual disabilities.
