The counting bears, geo solids, and ten frame pop-its have quickly become some of our favorite tools. During math time, students use the bears to practice sorting, counting, and creating patterns. It's amazing to see how much more engaged they are when they can move and touch the objects as they learn. The ten frame pop-its have turned practicing number combinations into a game—students eagerly pop the bubbles to show numbers and cheer each other on as they find different ways to make ten. The geo solids have been a wonderful addition to our geometry lessons; my kinders love holding the 3D shapes, comparing them to real-world objects, and even building towers with them.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was contagious the moment we opened the box! Students crowded around, each begging to be the first to try the new tools. One child held up a cube and said, \"This is like the block at home!\" while another proudly showed how fast they could pop to the number five. The joy on their faces showed me that these resources are not just supplies—they're experiences that make learning feel fun and meaningful.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these materials will continue to play a big role in our math block. The bears will support sorting, addition, and subtraction stories; the ten frame pop-its will help us build number fluency; and the geo solids will lead us into more exploration of shapes in our environment. Your support has given my students the gift of learning through play, and it's making all the difference in their confidence and excitement for math. The magnetic ten frames and floor-size number line have given my students the chance to move, build, and truly see numbers in action. During a recent lesson, the children worked in pairs to fill ten frames with magnetic counters while others hopped along the giant number line to solve addition and subtraction problems. Their faces lit up when they realized they could use their whole bodies to \"show their math.\" The classroom buzzers have been a huge hit too—students love using them during our math games, and it has made practice feel more like a game show than a worksheet.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the kinders could hardly contain their excitement. They eagerly gathered around as I introduced each new item, gasping at the giant number line and cheering when they got to try the buzzers for the first time. One student even said, \"Math is fun now—it feels like play!\" These tools have not only built enthusiasm, but they've also supported deeper understanding of counting, number relationships, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our unit on numbers to 20, we'll be using the ten frames to build stronger foundations in place value and the number line to practice adding and subtracting within 10. The buzzers will keep our math review games lively, encouraging every student to participate.
