My students are first graders that include several different cultural backgrounds. Despite their differences, they work together well and we have a strong sense of friendship and community in our classroom. Many students in our school come from families with a low socioeconomic status and therefore struggle to be able to provide adequate classroom supplies. The enthusiasm of my students make me proud and happy to be their teachers, and I'm always looking for ways to help make learning fun and exciting to continue to spark that flame of learning!
