During independent reading time, students are able to get the headphones to whisper read. This is helping promote better reading skills in them. They are able to hear themselves for what they are reading and correcting their own reading skills. \r\nThe wobble stool has helped students who need to have a little extra wiggle during instruction. It has been helping their focus and attention while learning direct instruction. The wobble stool has also been used as a positive incentive for other students who would like the opportunity to sit on it. \r\nThe pencil sharpener has been an absolute game changer! The students have improved drastically with their independence to sharpen pencils. It has also helped eliminate the amount of times students get up to sharpen their pencils throughout the day. Due to it being automatic it is mostly hands free and very kid friendly!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating so that we could have these items. Students who hated to read, now have books that are their favorites and can't wait for their next tutoring sessions. \r\n\r\nEngaging resources make all the difference in the world for struggling readers who also lack confidence.
