Every Friday, our two adaptive classes read coffee orders, fill those orders, and deliver to other staff members in the school. The coffee cart allows my students to interact with other staff members they are not familiar with. They are using sign language and their IPAD's to communicate to others. We are also working on math by counting how many packets of sugar and how many scoops of creamer each order receives. Some students are working on matching the room numbers to the orders when delivering. \r\n\r\nThank you for providing a clothing rack. Students have been working hard on learning to hang their clothes. This is a skill that will help them as they get older. The students who can't hang the clothes sort the clothes on the hangers by color.
