These have honestly made such a difference in my day to day teaching.\r\nI've mainly been using the easel for small group instruction, and it's been so helpful. Being able to pull a few students aside and have a real space to write things out, work through ideas, and look back on what we just covered has made those sessions way more effective. A lot of my students have told me it's easier to follow along in small group now that we have a clear visual space to work through problems together.\r\nOne thing I didn't see coming: my students have started leaving little quotes and inspirational messages on the board whenever they get a free moment. It's turned into this fun little tradition, and it's been sweet watching them make the space their own.\r\nGoing forward, I'm planning to keep leaning on the easel and board paper for small group support as we head into our next unit, giving students even more chances to get one on one time with me and with each other. The jellyfish quickly became much more than a classroom decoration—they became part of our daily routine. Every morning, one of my students would enthusiastically say, \"Good morning, my jellyfish,\" and every afternoon he would remind them, \"Goodnight until tomorrow.\" Watching my students build that emotional connection was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nThe jellyfish created opportunities for students to practice communication, take turns making observations, and participate in classroom discussions. They also became part of our classroom jobs, allowing students to develop responsibility by helping care for them. Even students who are typically reluctant to communicate became eager to share what they noticed or remind classmates about our daily routines.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the jellyfish, their faces lit up with amazement. They gathered around the tank, asked questions, and eagerly watched the gentle movement of the jellyfish. The calming environment they created helped many of my students regulate their emotions throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nAlthough the jellyfish eventually stopped working despite every effort to repair them, the impact they had on my students continues to inspire our classroom. We are now looking forward to introducing hermit crabs as our next classroom pets. This new experience will allow students to continue learning about responsibility, caring for living things, communication, and teamwork through authentic, hands-on experiences.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will take turns feeding the hermit crabs, maintaining their habitat, making daily observations, recording changes in behavior, and learning about their life cycle and basic needs. These activities will naturally support communication, social interaction, daily living skills, and independence while reinforcing the structured routines that help my students thrive.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done far more than provide classroom materials—it has created meaningful learning experiences, joyful daily routines, and opportunities for my students to build confidence, responsibility, and lasting memories.
