The room divider has created a calmer, more focused environment by giving us the flexibility to separate activities and reduce distractions during learning time. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who usually struggles with group work stay engaged for the entire activity because the divider helped him feel safe and secure.\r\n\r\nThe trampoline has been a huge hit during our movement breaks! When the students first saw it, their faces lit up with excitement, and several of them immediately asked if it was \"their turn.\" For our learners with autism, having a safe space to get sensory input through jumping has helped them regulate their emotions and return to learning ready and focused.\r\n\r\nNext, we're integrating the trampoline into our sensory schedule and using the divided space for more small-group instruction and social skills activities. These resources have already made a noticeable difference in our classroom, and we're so grateful for the support that made them possible!","fullyFundedDate":1746785950473,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-zone-swing-divider-trampolin/9115129/","projectTitle":"Sensory Zone: Swing, Divider & Trampoline Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dee Dee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9889684_orig.jpg?crop=3919,3919,x827,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1736541964653","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9889684"},{"teacherId":9694681,"projectId":9019112,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing materials for my \"calm down corner.\" I work with three self contained classrooms for children with severe autism. In our setting, visual supports are a vital part of daily instruction and routine. With access to high-quality color printing, we've been able to create individualized visual schedules, communication boards, social stories, and behavior supports that are engaging, clear, and easier for students to understand. Many of our learners rely on visual cues to navigate their day, and having these materials in color helps them process information more efficiently and reduces anxiety during transitions.\r\n\r\nWhat's been most exciting is seeing how the students respond to the bright, personalized visuals. One student who used to struggle with transitions is now independently moving through his day using a color-coded schedule that clearly shows each step. Another student who is largely nonverbal has shown increased interest in using his color PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) book, now that the images are vivid and easier to distinguish. These small changes have led to big wins greater independence, improved communication, and more positive engagement throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThis color printer has helped us meet our students where they are by making learning more accessible, meaningful, and joyful. Thank you for helping us bring their world into full color.","fullyFundedDate":1739569994237,"projectUrl":"project/color-printer-for-special-education-clas/9042799/","projectTitle":"Color Printer for Special Education Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dee Dee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9889684_orig.jpg?crop=3919,3919,x827,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1736541964653","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9889684"},{"teacherId":9694681,"projectId":8684531,"letterContent":"I am so very thankful for the \"Autism Visuals Project\" getting funded!
