My school consists primarily of African-American and Hispanic learners. The majority of my students have not had any preschool experiences. As a result, many arrive in Kindergarten years behind their peers. They are loving, kind, and caring. My students have an intense desire to learn. They need to be exposed to grade level appropriate materials in order to make the significant growth required of them.
