They restored our library, but furthermore they improve access to current events. It has also boosted student excitement for reading. They love all of the resources that come with the Scholastic magazines and it keeps them entertained and engaged, they almost forget they are learning. My students love having a cozy spot to read, work with a partner, or just settle in during group activities. I noticed that some of my quieter students were more willing to share their thoughts, just because they felt more comfortable in the space.\r\nWhen the bean bags first showed up, the kids were beyond excited—they couldn't wait to try them out. A few even said it made the room feel like a \"reading café.\" Since then, we've been using them for writing time and group projects, and it's been such a great way to keep students engaged. They take great pride in the furniture they helped build, and it has given them a sense of ownership in their learning environment. These additions have not only improved their comfort but have also boosted their confidence academically and socially.
