My students are full of energy trapped in their little bodies. Being my 8th year teaching, I have seen more active students. Research has proven that allowing our students to sit in a comfortable, flexible seating option, they are more focused throughout the day. Giving my students those options to sit on the stability chair and the learning stools will give them the flexibility they need in order to focus on their school work. My students would be proud and would love to be a part of a classroom that allows them to work to their best potential. I have been able to get discs and yoga mats as other forms of seating and even used old stability balls from a gym closing down. Adding a real stability chair and stools will allow them to have more options as to how they would like to learn and succeed in class. Please help my classroom embrace the idea of being DIFFERENT!
