Because of you, my students now have access to resources that have truly transformed their learning experience.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the new materials, we have been able to dive deeper into hands-on, engaging activities that bring our lessons to life. One memorable moment was during a recent project where students used the new resources to collaborate in small groups, explore concepts more independently, and share their ideas with confidence. I watched students who are usually hesitant to participate become excited contributors, eager to show what they had discovered.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the reaction was unforgettable. Their eyes lit up with excitement, and the room buzzed with curiosity and anticipation. Many of them immediately began asking questions and imagining all the ways they could use the new tools. It was a powerful reminder of how meaningful access to the right resources can be.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only provided materials—it has inspired enthusiasm, creativity, and a deeper love of learning in my students. Nearly every instructional program, across every academic instructional subject (reading, math, science, social studies, SEL, etc.) require the use of computers and interactive smartboards to deliver lessons, reteach concepts and skills and engage students in meaningful learning endeavors. The days of textbooks are long gone and every major academic learning program requires the use of computers for both teacher lesson plans, student work, interactive lesson implementation, computerized assessments and reteaching/extended teaching lessons. However, up until we received your donation, our classroom has unfortunately had NONE. We have been functioning without an the necessary tools to teach/learn. But our new interactive smartboard has finally given us what we need. Only about half the classrooms in our school have interactive smartboards which provide them the advantage of truly reaching every student. While the rest of us have been left waiting year after year with empty promises that we might receive precious learning moments were being missed. Words can not truly express how grateful I am to now have one in my classroom for my general educations and special education students to learn and engage with on a daily basis because of you. It has genuinely made a world of difference in their academic progress, motivation, engagement and cooperative learning and conversations. I have watched my students flourish in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Independent Research Studies because we now actually have one. It would not have been possible without your generous support.","fullyFundedDate":1762629517412,"projectUrl":"project/innovation-in-the-classroom-enhancing-p/9496710/","projectTitle":"Innovation in the Classroom: Enhancing Project-Based Learning With Visual Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pedro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10091980"},{"teacherId":155172,"projectId":10047727,"letterContent":"I am writing to sincerely thank you for supporting my project, \"Comfort for Those Who Need It!\" Because of your generosity, my classroom has been transformed into a more welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for all of my students.\r\n\r\nWith your donations, I was able to purchase flexible seating options that give students the opportunity to choose spaces where they feel comfortable and focused. This has already made a noticeable difference in student engagement and productivity. When students are physically comfortable, they are better able to concentrate, participate, and do their best work.\r\n\r\nYour support also allowed me to create student needs centers stocked with essential materials. These centers ensure that every child has access to supplies without feeling embarrassed or singled out. This has helped build confidence, independence, and a sense of dignity among my students.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the snacks you provided have been incredibly meaningful. For some of my students, these snacks are not just a treat — they are essential. When basic needs are met, students can focus on learning instead of hunger. Your kindness is making a real difference in their daily lives.\r\n\r\nThe fidget tools have also been a tremendous support for social-emotional learning. They help students regulate their emotions, manage stress, and stay focused during lessons. I have already seen improvements in self-control and classroom behavior because students now have healthy tools to support their needs.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has created a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and cared for. The students were absolutely in awe when they first saw the puppets and stage! They couldn't wait to get their hands on them during center time, especially as we explored our community helpers unit. The puppets immediately became the highlight of the classroom, inspiring imaginative play and meaningful conversations about the important roles these helpers have in our community.\r\n\r\nThe children have loved using the puppets to retell stories and act out how their community helper makes a difference every day. They even created a community helpers map, showing various places in our community and the people who work there, often carrying their puppets along on these imaginative journeys. Our classroom has been transformed into a hub of imagination, collaboration, and hand-on learning. The magna-tiles, magnetic sticks, and stem building kits have quickly become some of our class favorites. Each day, I see students eagerly exploring ways to design, build and create. \r\n From the moment the packages started arriving, students noticed the new materials and excitement filled the room. The magna-tiles sparked curiosity as students began experimenting with the different colors and shapes. They quickly began combining shapes to create intricate zoos, farms, skyscrapers, and vehicles. The magnetic sticks and balls create a whole new level of creativity. It is so exciting to see some students using the picture guide for ideas, and watch them analyze it to design their own. The wooden people have become an asset in our small block area and lead to imaginative dialogue between students. The art pixel set is a perfect addition for students who prefer to work in a quieter setting, exploring their artistic analysis. \r\n These building experiences aren't only fun, they are helping students develop critical skills. As they construct towers, they are strengthening hand-eye coordination. They are developing their spatial awareness skills with confident planning and design. They're learning that trial and error is part of the process, a crucial skills in kindergarten standards. \r\n Thank you for believing in our project and supporting our students' growth.
