"Experience is the mother of all teachers." That's my motto. I am currently teaching a special education class. Our school is a micro-society school and my class venture is the Post Office. My students will be able to learn the importance of the role of the post office in a community. My class is a social skills class with students that range chronologically from 1st to 3rd grade with academic abilities that are 2 years below grade level. This is a self-contained classroom with a ratio of 8:1:1.
