We have been using it to help differentiate instruction for students. By placing the divider between groups, students are able to focus more clearly on the instruction being presented to them, rather than being distracted by other groups. In addition, it provides a dedicated workspace where students can collaborate with peers, show their thinking, and work through challenging concepts. Because it is double-sided, both groups are able to engage in this type of work simultaneously.\r\n\r\nThe students' first response upon seeing the rolling divider was \"wow!\" They quickly recognized it as a valuable learning tool and were eager to participate. Students who were previously distracted by other groups are now more focused, with calm bodies and increased engagement. This has also allowed them the opportunity to come up to the board and share their thinking with peers in a more structured and supportive way.\r\n\r\nWe initially introduced the board during math instruction, where differentiation is often more intensive. Students adapted so well that we have now begun incorporating it into ELA as well. While students may be working toward the same learning objective, the board allows us to provide supports such as sentence stems and targeted prompts for those who need them.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity. This resource has allowed us to better differentiate for all learners and create structured spaces where every student can access and demonstrate their best learning.","fullyFundedDate":1774634489652,"projectUrl":"project/divide-to-multiply-creating-spaces-for/10158441/","projectTitle":"Divide to Multiply: Creating Spaces for Student Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Braun","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7514612_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663589502435","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7514612"},{"teacherId":6866521,"projectId":9590264,"letterContent":"We are using the white boards for math and writing their addition and subtraction facts, estimating and Solving word problems.
