My students and I are truly grateful. In working with special education students, I found that our current word study program was not working for some of my students. They needed to learn to read in chunks (rimes). I also have an older student (a fourth grader) reading at a beginning second grade level. He loves this program and is making great strides in decoding longer unknown words. He enjoys the Power Pak and is motivated to read the words and check off the rimes he has read. \r\n\r\nMy first graders have loved adding the endings to the words. I have been transferring the oral spelling to written spelling using the Rime Word Spelling sheet provided. This is making a difference with not only reading the words but learning to spell them. \r\n\r\nThanks again.
