Unlike a regular sewing machine, the serger allows them to create secure, professional seams without needing to go back and fix missed areas, which has been both empowering and motivating for them.\r\nBecause of this machine, students are producing higher quality work, building technical skills, and gaining pride in what they create. This new equipment has opened up so many opportunities for creation in my classroom. Students have been excited to design using a tablet connected to the computer using photoshop and illustrator as well as using procreate on an iPad.
