There is an acronym we say: M.A.T.H: Mistakes Allow Thinking to Happen. Having a surface that erases easily allows students to take more risks when trying new concepts. We literally use the table every single day and even when I am not teaching in my room, students who have separate location as a testing accommodation request to come to my room. Just the other day, a student was taking a social studies final exam and sat at our new table. She wrote the notes for her essay all over almost half of the table. I was told she did a phenomenal job on that essay! \r\n\r\nI am so incredibly grateful that you chose to support my project. It is people and organizations like yours that understand how education can be improved from when we were in school.
