My kids were sooooo excited! In fact, they keep trying to sneak into them when we have indoor recess this winter. The games are all tried and true classics that are fun and the kids don't even know they are learning in the process. I needed these games to spice up our RTI/Win times when we split the kids into ability levels and focus on which skills they need to focus on. For my reading group. I have the highest students in the class so I needed games that would challenge them. For the math group I run, I have the students who struggle the most but aren't identified and receiving support from other areas. These students are 3-4 grade levels behind so this time allows me to work with them at their level and help scaffold the gaps they have. Learning is hard for them and games allows them to enjoy the learning process again. \r\n\r\nThanks again...my students rarely get to see fun games and brand new ones at that. Usually I have to search at garage sales and thrift stores to score one game. This was like Christmas for them. I could not include pics of the students playing the games -- our district does not allow us to take pics with our personal cells.","fullyFundedDate":1764637810703,"projectUrl":"project/gobs-of-learning-games/9923671/","projectTitle":"Gobs of Learning Games!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sears","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3526215_orig.png?crop=808,808,x0,y45&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764023927250","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3526215"},{"teacherId":324657,"projectId":9899415,"letterContent":"Thank you for contributing to this class project!
