Because of your generosity, students had so many new opportunities! A work team of future engineers worked diligently and collaboratively to help build the bike! They were so proud and did frequent maintenance checks to ensure it was in tip-top shape! Our cyclists have ridden near and far while reading, working on a Chromebook assignment, or just having a little downtime. They learn about new towns, states, and lakes around Rochester as they log their miles. This is broadening their scope and piquing their interest! Some students had never been on a bike before and, although hesitant, found real accomplishment in making those pedals go faster and faster as their confidence grew!
