Your support has made a meaningful difference in helping my students grow in their math skills by giving them tools that make learning clearer, more engaging, and more enjoyable. The math posters you provided have become valuable visual guides that students reference during lessons and independent work, helping them feel more confident as they tackle new concepts. The erasers and other supplies you donated may seem small, but they have truly helped students feel comfortable taking risks, correcting mistakes, and trying again—an important part of developing strong problem-solving habits. One of the biggest highlights has been the new math games, which allow students to practice number sense, operations, and reasoning in fun and interactive ways. It has been wonderful to see students who once felt unsure about math now excited to participate and proud of their progress. Your generosity has shown my students that others believe in their potential, and that encouragement means so much. I am grateful for your generous nature and seeing that a few dollars could greatly impact the quality of books my students are exposed to.\r\nI chose the two book titles based on the tough topics they explore and the potential they have to shift to my students' thinking for good. \r\nAbsolutely Almost will help students recognize their unique talents and traits, and employ courage to build their own self worth. I plan to begin the year with this title and revisit the theme throughout the year paired with some Kindness 101 lesson from Steve Hartman. The second title is Out of My Mind, which tells the struggle a young girl has with a communication disability and how she learns to navigate the world. This book was chosen to help students understand how uniquely different we are all, yet intelligent and talented in our own ways. I plan to teach my 4th graders about physical disabilities and open their mind to lives besides their own.\r\nI love reading books with students that have real life lesson and morals. Whether it's curling up in the cozy chair in our classroom library with a good book or sitting on a stool during independent work, students are more motivated and invested in their learning environment.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects has been watching students use the bouncing ball chairs to release energy while staying on task.
