Our wonderful director, Michael, ensures that every student in every class has a part in our play. I work with the students to create costumes, props and scenery and I take care of the sound \r\n\r\nWith your help, our play was a resounding success. Because of your kindness, our students now have access to an iPad that is making a meaningful difference in their learning and daily communication.\r\nFor many of our students, communication can be challenging. The iPad provides opportunities to build language, literacy, and independence skills in ways that are engaging and accessible. Through educational apps, visual supports, and communication tools, students are able to participate more actively in lessons, express their wants and needs, and demonstrate what they know. Technology helps us meet students where they are and provides individualized support that promotes success.\r\nThe most exciting part for our students is having an interactive tool that responds to them. They are highly motivated to use the iPad, whether they are practicing academic skills, communicating with others, or completing classroom activities. Several students who are typically hesitant to participate have become more engaged and confident when using the device.
