Your donations have made a meaningful difference in my students' learning experience, who are high school students with autism functioning at a pre-kindergarten cognitive level.\r\n\r\nWe have been actively using the laminating sheets, clocks, puzzles, and hands-on materials you provided every day. One particularly special moment was when we introduced the learning clocks. I allowed my students to open the box themselves, and their excitement was truly unforgettable. They eagerly unwrapped the materials and immediately began exploring them with curiosity and joy.\r\n\r\nUsing the clocks alongside our Smart Board instruction has been extremely effective. The hands-on experience allowed students to manipulate the clocks physically, which helped them better understand key concepts such as hours and minutes. They began making connections between the classroom wall clock and their individual learning clocks, practicing skills repeatedly, and building confidence.\r\n\r\nThrough these materials, students are now learning to distinguish between morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime. They are also beginning to understand the difference between AM and PM, as well as recognizing times such as 6:00, 6:30, and 7:00, and how the day progresses. The visual and kinesthetic approach has been essential in helping them grasp these important life skills.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue building on these skills by incorporating time-telling into daily routines, schedules, and real-life scenarios. This will help students develop greater independence and functional understanding as they prepare for life beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support has allowed my students to access meaningful, engaging, and appropriate learning tools that truly meet their needs.
