My students have so much fun playing with the kinetic sand and exploring, building and creating using the manipulatives. Students practiced: kneading, cutting, pulling and forming the sand with their fingers. This helps build their fine motor and language skills. They couldn't wait to tell each other what they were building, from a mountain, to a volcano and even cookie and cake making. Their imaginations were endless. They were so excited to stick their hands into the sand to feel it.\r\n\r\nStudents use the kinetic sand everyday during play time. They are so excited to play with the materials. Students take turns playing with the materials by moving their picture cards to the area.
