I'm not sure many people understand the impact that having a break area with sensory tools has on all students, and especially some of the children with IEPS who have a lot of difficulty with sensory overload, regulating emotions, etc. Putty is one of the best tools that works wonders but it can get costly and needs to be replenished so I am super grateful and can't thank you enough!!!!\r\n\r\nWhen this arrived, it was really special because it came with the themed tins where the children can hide things in the putty and find the little items. While this helps kids to regulate, it also turned out being a really fun activity for all of the kids. I took pictures multiple times of the children using all of these things and there is no excuse but the year was SO busy and crazy that while it was always in the back of my mind to send them, it remained on my long to do list. Please accept my apology for the delayed thanks. These items made a HUGE difference in my ability to teach my small groups and for the children to have materials to use independently during centers. There were also items that helped children regulate in the break area. I could go on and on but it just made a tremendous difference. Teaching math was made 1,000 easier with the ten frame paddles that every classroom should have. The children especially were obsessed with all of the fun phonics centers which they looked forward to on Friday mornings or during their free time.
