Many of my students have complex communication needs and use the device to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas when spoken language is difficult. The technology supports participation in speech therapy sessions, classroom lessons, and social interactions by giving students a reliable way to communicate. It also helps build important language skills such as vocabulary, requesting, answering questions, and engaging in conversations with peers and adults.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is that the device gives them a voice and greater independence. They are motivated by being able to communicate successfully and see immediate results when their messages are understood by others. Several students have especially embraced this technology because it has reduced frustration and increased their confidence. Students who once relied heavily on adults to interpret their needs are now independently making requests, sharing ideas, and participating more actively in academic and social activities. These tools increase engagement, support learning across settings, and give students greater opportunities to interact with peers and adults throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting aspect of this technology is that it gives students a voice and promotes independence. Many students are highly motivated by the interactive features and take pride in being able to communicate successfully. Some students who previously had difficulty expressing themselves have especially embraced these tools, using them to make requests, answer questions, and engage socially with increased confidence.
