Thanks to your support, our classroom has become a more organized, comfortable, and engaging space where students can truly focus on learning and growing. The supplies you helped provide—hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, organization tools, fidgets, floor cushions, and snacks—have made a massive difference in our daily routines and the overall well-being of my students. \r\n\r\nThe day the materials arrived was unforgettable. As I unpacked the boxes, my students' eyes lit up excitedly. They were thrilled about the fidgets and floor cushions, immediately asking if they could try them out. I explained how these resources would help them stay focused and comfortable throughout the school day, and they eagerly found ways to incorporate them into their learning. One student, who often struggles with sitting still for long periods, found that using a fidget tool helped him stay engaged in our reading lesson without feeling restless. Another student, who prefers working on the floor during independent reading, was grateful for the new cushions, making her reading time much more enjoyable. \r\n\r\nBeyond these tools for comfort and focus, essential supplies such as hand sanitizer, tissues, and paper towels have helped keep our classroom clean and safe. Maintaining good hygiene is crucial in a large classroom setting, and having these supplies readily available has reduced distractions and helped students take responsibility for keeping our learning space tidy. Your generosity has provided these items and fostered a sense of community and care among my students, who now make a more conscious effort to keep our classroom clean. \r\n\r\nPerhaps one of the biggest game-changers has been the addition of snacks. Many of my students come to school without having eaten breakfast, and by mid-morning, hunger can become a significant distraction. Having snacks available means they can stay focused and engaged in lessons without worrying about when their next meal will be. After grabbing a granola bar one morning, one student said, \"Now I can actually concentrate on math!\" Something as simple as a snack has helped ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed. \r\n\r\nCurrently, we are working on a group research project in social studies, where students are learning about the effects of the Ice Age on the Western Hemisphere. With the organization tools you helped provide, students have been able to keep track of their notes and research materials more efficiently. They've been using folders and storage bins to stay organized, making collaborative learning much smoother. Working in a clean and structured environment has enhanced their ability to focus and take ownership of their education. \r\n\r\nYour generosity has impacted our classroom, and my students and I are incredibly grateful. Thank you for believing in their potential and for supporting their learning journey. Because of you, my students have the tools to thrive in fifth grade and beyond.","fullyFundedDate":1737559667748,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-fifth-graders-thrive-with-essent/9068465/","projectTitle":"Help My Fifth Graders Thrive with Essential Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Louris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9721148_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756409365698","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9721148"},{"teacherId":8701351,"projectId":8849387,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and me, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous gift in loving memory of Rose Landers. They sit with a book, hug our weighted stuffed animal, and engage with the sensory tubes—each item providing them with a sense of security and calm. Seeing the impact of these resources reinforces just how much your kindness has meant to our school community.\r\n\r\nWords cannot fully capture our appreciation, but please know that your thoughtfulness is making a difference every day.
