What am impact you have made on reading in my classroom. When I surprised the kids with the new books, they couldn't believe their eyes. Kids were cheering and and begging to be the first to get their hands on these new titles.\r\n\r\nUsing well loved and exciting new literature for independent reading has brought new life to reading in my classroom, as kids are eager to move from one series to the next or read the latest book from their favorite author. \r\n\r\nThird grade is a challenging year for students who struggle in reading. As students move from 2nd to 3rd grade, their interests change and they want to read more mature books. Unfortunately, many level appropriate books for 3rd grade struggling readers do not interest kids as their maturity level is beyond the topics of the books. I worked hard to research some new and exciting series that would spark interest and maturity levels, while also providing appropriate level reading. I am thrilled to have these titles in my library now, encouraging even struggling readers to get their nose in a good book!\r\n\r\nThank you for making this dream come true for my class!
