With technology being so prevalent in today's world, and so many educational resources being available with the use various educational apps, I believe having iPads incorporated in my teaching will help foster learning. Having an iPad as a resource will help motivate students. There are many apps and programs that each student can use in the classroom that will allow them to work on their individual skill level in order to differentiate instruction. Having technology in the classroom not only provides an endless amount of resources and information for the students, but also serves as a reinforcer for positive behaviors and a fun and useful tool for students who learn differently. We will be using the iPads during our daily routines, for research, assessments and during center time in math and reading. The students will be able to use the iPads to work in teams and individually. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student attention and positive behaviors, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
