They especially loved the text, \"Playing at the Border\" about Yo-Yo Ma.\r\n\r\nWith these texts, we were able to enrich our Artists-in-Residence partnership, where guest teachers come in each week and work on the topic of immigration with students. For one student, he has been ecstatic to use the whispering phones, since he enjoys imaginary play. With the support of his paraprofessional, he likes to pretend that he is a worker at Apple and answering customer questions about different products available. \r\n\r\nFor another student, they need multisensory tools to have access to learning. They love the tactile feeling of playdoh and have been so happy to use the alphabet playdoh. They chose different sea creatures to learn more about :) Since we've been learning about sharks and octopuses, they've especially loved the \"Who Would Win?
