Because of your generosity, our classroom now has essential art supplies such as drawing paper, pencils, Sharpies, and crayons, materials my students use every day to learn, experiment, and express themselves.\r\n\r\nMy school is a Title I community school serving students from 3K through fifth grade, and many of my students do not have access to art supplies at home. These materials allow every child to fully participate in art lessons, regardless of background. With these tools, students practice fine motor skills, develop problem-solving strategies, and learn how to communicate ideas visually. Just as importantly, they gain confidence by seeing their ideas come to life on paper.\r\n\r\nYour donation has had an immediate and meaningful impact. Students are more engaged, eager to create, and proud to share their work. Thank you for believing in the importance of arts education and for investing in my students' creativity and growth.","fullyFundedDate":1758898845688,"projectUrl":"project/basic-art-supplies-for-art-stars/9583235/","projectTitle":"Basic Art Supplies for Art Stars!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7475030_orig.jpg?crop=1142,1142,x730,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1598228976189","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7475030"},{"teacherId":2847354,"projectId":9571462,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity. When my students first saw their materials, they were elated. Each child has a storage box where they keep their own pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, scissors, and glue sticks. They enjoy using their supplies to create art and love incorporating them into all classroom assignments. They couldn't wait to start pasting with their glue sticks and forming letters with their dry-erase markers. They love that everything in the storage box belongs to them. Every storage box is labeled, and the materials are neatly organized.\r\nThey also loved their chair pockets, where they can place their workbooks, boards, and dry-erase markers in an organized manner. \r\n Furthermore, the classroom connector folders are a great way to stay in touch with my parents. All notices and homework are kept organized inside the folders as well.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the day, when my students have been dismissed, I wipe all my tables with Clorox wipes so that they are cleaned for the following school day. \r\n\r\nTo conclude, my students will continue to use their materials in all content areas. As a school-based speech-language pathologist, my goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can grow confidently. Thanks to your donations, we were able to begin the school year with the essential supplies needed to help students stay organized, engaged, and comfortable—folders, pencils, crayons, art materials, and flexible floor seating have already become an important part of our daily routines. These items are more than basic tools; they help students build confidence, independence, and joy as they work toward their communication and academic goals.\r\n\r\nYour contributions also made it possible to maintain a clean and healthy learning space. The cleaning supplies you provided, including Lysol and other materials, help us keep our classroom sanitary and welcoming, which is especially important for students who are more vulnerable to illness. A clean environment reduces absences and allows students to focus on learning rather than worrying about getting sick. This sense of safety and consistency has helped many of my students settle into the school day with greater confidence and readiness to learn.\r\n\r\nMore than anything, your kindness has reminded my students that there are people outside our classroom who truly care about their success. Your support sends a powerful message: that their learning matters, that their growth is valued, and that they are not alone in their journey. You have helped create a space where students feel excited, supported, and motivated, and for that, we are all incredibly grateful. Thank you for believing in my students and for making such a positive and lasting difference in their school experience.","fullyFundedDate":1758899061600,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-safe-and-inspiring-space-for/9490771/","projectTitle":"Creating a Safe and Inspiring Space for Young Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. REID-BACCHUS","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5452343_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1564619705361","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5452343"},{"teacherId":7284334,"projectId":7090117,"letterContent":"This was an amazing gift and opportunity in supporting students! Your thoughtful contributions ensured that students could stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. It's often the small comforts that have the biggest impact, and your donations reminded these children that they are cared for.\r\n\r\nI also want to express special appreciation for the floor chairs you donated. Our kindergarteners absolutely loved sitting in them during our Fundations activities. The added comfort made our lessons even more engaging and enjoyable.
