We have been learning about sustainable farming and the ways that we can utilize hydroponics in order to grow nutritious microgreens that are healthy and tasty!\r\nWe have our own DIY hydroponics unit that we were proud to help create. Unboxing our donations together was quite exciting for all of us. When students saw the brand new materials it impressed upon them that they were important and valued. Having to contended with our old, and damaged materials was a huge let down when equipment failure spoiled our investigations and experiments.\r\n\r\nI must tell you that even the magnifying lens, something that one may consider a low tech item, was absolutely thrilling! The few that I did have were so scratched up that they were useless. We use them to complete our online programs such as i-Ready. The students will listen to audiobooks. Also, the students that have an accommodation for being read to for tests can also listen and complete their assessments. \r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your generosity and for believing in our students.
