My classroom has not received new furniture for students in over a decade. Many of the furniture that my students are using is broken or on the verge of breaking. A classroom with new furniture will provide a warm, welcoming, and flexible environment for my students. "An uncomfortable student, is a distracted and unproductive student." (Smith System Blog) The desks that you provide can be adjusted for students to have a choice to sit or stand. The adjustable wobble seats will allow students to find comfort while working. The flexible seating also gives students the opportunity to move when needed. Students who suffer from ADD or ADHD will be able to remain focused on their work. Your donation will create an environment that provides students with more control over their learning. When students have more control over their learning, they become more engaged. Please help me provide the flexible environment that my students so desperately need. Thank You in advance!
