As a New Kindergarten Special Education teacher, I want the students to have the best support possible in their learning and so these very special children need to have the resources that will maximize their learning. Our population are low income where everyone of them receives a free lunch and the basics, however because they have such special needs they need so much more. The laptop will allow the student with autism to work with technology and use headphones when necessary. The headphones will allow the other students to have a listening center for reading. The sensory items are some that we would not have unless they were funded. All of the items would help tremendously in creating a rich environment with the supplies that they need.
