The reward bin has been a hit in the classroom and has been something that the students look forward to. \r\n\r\nCurrently, my students are reading the novel 'A Long Walk To Water\". They are learning about the journey of Salva, a refugee as he travels through the dessert at just 11 years old. Alongside of his story is another story, one of a fictional character named Nya, who shows readers some of the everyday struggles that people in South Sudan faced. Today specifically, I guided the students through a close read of an article called \"The Lost Girls\".
