We really did get \"crafty\" in OT. The supplies allowed us to get creative, and complete lots of fun projects. Our first project that we completed was the snow globes. Each student was able to make one to give as a gift or keep for themselves. The Harry Potter Legos were a big hit, and students wanted to come during their lunch to work on getting it done. After a few weeks of hard work, the train and train station are complete. We started our sticker mosaics and are looking forward to creating a gallery of the finished projects. My students were so excited when the boxes arrived, and could not wait to dive in and get started. Hands on projects are an amazing way to learn, and we are so grateful that we have materials that allowed us to be creative and learn.","fullyFundedDate":1730919006114,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-crafty-in-ot/8872357/","projectTitle":"Lets Get Crafty in OT","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Durando","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2002219_orig.jpg?crop=348,348,x0,y73&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698704423495","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2002219"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_757","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":843,"numTeachers":84,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":20,"percentBlack":34,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"10.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":62.7,"schoolId":757,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Junior High School 278 Marine Park on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Junior High School 278 Marine Park","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/jhs-278-marine-park/757"}
