Because of you, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students who often face quiet but significant challenges when it comes to accessing personal hygiene items.\r\n\r\nThrough your donations, we were able to prepare and distribute Sanity Pouches filled with essential items such as sanitary pads, panty liners, hand sanitizer, facial tissues, deodorant, and lotion. These pouches were handed out with care and sensitivity to students in Grades 3 through 8, ensuring that they feel supported, seen, and equipped to focus on learning without interruption or embarrassment.\r\n\r\nWe're proud to share that this initiative served between 75 and 100 students. Many of these students now carry their pouches discreetly in their backpacks and have expressed sincere appreciation for receiving something so personal and helpful.\r\n\r\nWhat may seem like small items to some can truly make a big impact in a young person's school day—and your contribution made that possible.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of every student who smiled in relief, every teacher who no longer had to reach into their own pockets, and every parent who felt a little more supported, thank you. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support through DonorsChoose. As a paraprofessional working with a diverse group of learners across multiple grades, I can tell you that your impact goes far beyond the materials. It's been a spark of joy, inspiration, and confidence for my students. One of the most exciting additions has been the interactive learning games, especially SpellChecked, which has quickly become a favorite in both 2nd and 4th grade. We've been using it regularly as an exit ticket activity, and it's wonderful to see how something as simple as a game can ignite friendly competition and reinforce spelling in a meaningful way. Equally impactful has been the set of sound cards that have been used across all K–2 classrooms. These cards have become a central part of our phonemic awareness lessons. For many of our students, especially those who struggle with letter-sound correspondence, having a visual anchor has helped build their confidence and independence in literacy.\r\n Thank you for taking a chance on our classroom and for giving our students tools that help them grow. Your kindness reminds us that there are people out there who truly care about education — and that kind of support is something we'll never forget.","fullyFundedDate":1739040059011,"projectUrl":"project/intervention-needs/9080802/","projectTitle":"Intervention needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Washington","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9730597_orig.jpg?crop=537,537,x0,y46&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727972185403","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9730597"},{"teacherId":9713885,"projectId":8733987,"letterContent":"I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the thoughtful donation of pencils, calculators, sharpeners, and fidgets. The store has become a vibrant centerpiece of our learning environment, offering students the opportunity to earn and redeem rewards for their hard work, good behavior, and academic achievements. It has fostered a sense of responsibility, goal-setting, and financial literacy as students learn to manage their points and make thoughtful decisions about their purchases. Seeing their faces light up when they achieve their goals has been one of the most rewarding parts of teaching this year.\r\nYour kindness has had a profound impact on our classroom culture.
