My school community serves low-income families and students. Art gives them a gateway to another world where all their hopes, dreams, and wildest dreams are attainable. In this project, we asked for construction paper, colored pencils, markers, pencils, googly eyes, glue, scissors, and bulletin board letters that will be used by the students to create their masterpieces and display them for the school to see. We will use these supplies to create amazing works of art to go with our literature pieces. With these supplies, we will be able to bring our work to life and build on our readers' imaginations!
