Together, we have raised enough money for a classroom rug, multiple different kinds of instruments, and a new set of dry erase boards, erasers, and markers to make my classroom even more interactive! \r\nRecently, students have been loving coming into music to sit on the new and inviting rug! Many students have said how much more comfortable it is and how the fun design makes them even more excited to come in and learn! Students were so excited when they came in and saw a brand new, clean, and super fun rug! Many students dove right onto it in excitement!\r\nOne of my second grade classes recently got to work with the new dry erase boards and markers to demonstrate their understanding of written music. They all got to work together and write at once, something we hadn't been able to do before. My students independence grew with the organizational tools your contribution helped provide for my class. They are now able to get their own objects out and clean up after themselves without my assistance. The laminating sheets helped to provide a more durable covering for our games and center activities. This allows for more use, and less preparation for me! More kids are able to enjoy the activities I made since they are durable. Lastly, the emotional support sensory items have helped multiple students calm down, recalibrate, and take time to process their feelings.
