Your thoughtful gift has transformed our learning space and brought so much joy to our daily activities. We use the rug every day as a cozy gathering spot for story time, circle discussions, and group projects. It's not just a rug—it's become the heart of our classroom, where my students feel comfortable and engaged. We are truly lucky to have supporters like you who care about enriching young learners' experiences.\r\n\r\nThe day the rug arrived was unforgettable. My students' eyes lit up with excitement as they walked in to the classroom and saw the gorgeous rug—there were gasps, giggles, and even a few spontaneous somersaults! One little boy shouted, \"Wow! Look we got a new rug!\" and that sparked a whole morning of interactive play. Their creativity flourished, and I could see how having this dedicated, inviting space encouraged them to share and listen to one another. Moments like these remind me how much a simple resource can inspire learning and connection.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're building on this energy with our current literacy unit. The students are now working on creating their own picture books, inspired by the stories we've shared on the rug. Our next steps include illustrating their tales and \"publishing\" them for a classroom library we'll display in our classroom and share with our families. Your gift has set the stage for this project and so many more to come.
