Students who engage in mindfulness activities are more likely to perform higher academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. My goal is to make my students feel safe and at peace in our classroom or at home, while they may be facing hardships at home. Mindfulness resources can change a student's perspective on learning in a positive way. Incorporating mindful resources in my classroom will provide my students with the opportunity to become more connected to themselves and learn how to handle personal stress while balancing their virtual learning. Friendships between peers and teachers can become stronger. They can learn how to be more aware of their actions and the effects of their actions. Mindful practices teach children to be kind to one another. During these unprecedented times in the world, my seventeen students will absolutely benefit from these resources!
