The students engaged in planning and creating a 'gate' for 5 little pumpkins; based on the kids song. They worked in pairs for this first project. \r\n The freedom to choose different material to build with and an opportunity to learn about making changes in their design without feeling like they 'failed' was priceless. \r\n They had to write what materials they needed as well as the quantity.
