Your donations of printer ink and cozy hoodies have made a meaningful difference in our classroom and in the lives of our students.\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw their cozy hoodies, their faces lit up with excitement. They were happy to receive something special that would help keep them warm and comfortable throughout the school day. Seeing their smiles reminded me how even the simplest acts of kindness can make a big difference.\r\n\r\nThe printer ink has also been a tremendous help! It allows us to print colorful worksheets, visual schedules, communication cards, and individualized learning activities that meet the unique needs of our students. As a special education teacher, I know how important visual supports and hands-on materials are in helping students understand lessons, communicate their needs, and become more independent.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using these resources to create engaging lessons that strengthen our students' academic, communication, and daily living skills. We want every student to feel comfortable, confident, and excited about learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has provided more than just ink and hoodies. You have helped create a warm, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and cared for.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our students and helping them succeed, one small step at a time!","fullyFundedDate":1778824195183,"projectUrl":"project/warm-hearts-bright-minds/10054711/","projectTitle":"Warm Hearts, Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Charles","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8583854_orig.jpg?crop=460,460,x0,y125&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1678572191893","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8583854"},{"teacherId":3845211,"projectId":10049682,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation. Having sweatpants and socks available for when students do not have an in school change of clothes is not only helpful for the families, so they don't have to make a trip up to the schools, but also allows the students to immediately change into clean and comfortable clothes. \r\nWe are eternally grateful for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1769786395509,"projectUrl":"project/warm-for-the-winter/10049682/","projectTitle":"Warm for the Winter","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beltran","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3845211_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737119580989","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missvianca"},{"teacherId":3845211,"projectId":9749963,"letterContent":"When I first began teaching I told myself that if I can positively impact even one child I have succeeded. Because of your generosity, my students now have puppets, books, stepping stones, and snacks that we use every single day to make learning fun and meaningful. The puppets have been wonderful for imaginative play and communication during circle time, and the books are helping us build early literacy skills in a comfortable, supportive way.\r\n\r\nThe stepping stones have been a huge hit—especially for my students who struggle with stability and climbing stairs. They instantly gravitated toward them, showing such excitement and curiosity as soon as the materials arrived. Even though many students are nonverbal, their smiles, laughter, and eagerness to take turns said everything. With practice, my students are already improving their balance, motor skills, and overall confidence while moving through the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe snacks and juice you provided have also made a real difference. Some of our students come to school hungry or without snacks or lunch. Having food available has helped them stay calm, focused, and ready to learn and play alongside their classmates. Thanks to you, our classroom feels joyful, supported, and full of opportunities for growth. I truly appreciate the kindness you've shown our class—your impact is visible every day.","fullyFundedDate":1758821753490,"projectUrl":"project/learn-play-snack-repeat/9693547/","projectTitle":"Learn, Play, Snack, Repeat!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Shyanne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10166694_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757962779754","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10166694"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_131990","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":73,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"US Census Data for the surrounding geographic area","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"Census ZCTA","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":131990,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about PS 77K @ PS K150 on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"PS 77K @ PS K150","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/district-75-city-wide-programs/ps-77k-public-school-k150/131990"}
